The new Clarins Palette Eclat takes me back to Itchycoo Park!!
…”What on earth does she mean?” I hear you ask.
When I opened this gorgeous gold palette, I cooed with delight! The exquisite pattern, the beautiful colours…”It’s all too beautiful!” I sang.
For those of you not familiar with the song “Itchycoo Park” – originally sang by Small Faces, covered by M People in the ’90s – I’ve added a little video below. LISTEN TO THE CHORUS!
This stunning compact looked too perfect to disturb. However, in the interests of beauty, I winced and brushed my fingers against the soft, silky powder.
What struck me at first was how finely milled this powder is; there’s not an ounce of grittyness.
It lies over the skin like a whisper-fine veil of colour. The pale peach hue serves to add a subtle glow. My skin looked brighter, fresher and most importantly, HEALTHIER after a light application!
Having not seen the sun for what seems like months (it’s only 2 days really), my ghostly complexion was miraculously transformed by this little wonder…
This powder is simply “healthy looking skin” in a compact…I don’t know about you, but at this time of year, I need all the help I can get!
Miss it at your peril!
