Get Thicker Looking Lashes – NO MASCARA NEEDED!!

August 22, 2012

What sorcery is this? Thicker looking lashes with NO mascara? Surely not?

I kid you not folks! When this odd-looking liner came through my door, I was puzzled: how on earth would I use it?!!

Not like a normal liquid liner, the 3-Dot Liner by Clarins features three brush tips in one – it looks more like a mini fork than an eye liner!

But how would this work? I’m useless at applying liner at the best of times (you can always guarantee that it’ll be wonky, no matter how much I steady my hand!) – surely three lines at once would be harder to control?

But no, this proved simple – even for my shaky hand! The three lines look like a single thick stroke across the lash-line.

What’s even more amazing is that dotting this along the lash-line – specifically for tightlining - gives the illusion of thick and healthy-looking lashes. This is ideal for me as I go through periods of losing lashes in clumps, leaving obvious gaps.  By using this smart little pen to dot pigment in those spaces (or all along) to compensate for lost lashes, there’s no need for falsies! AWESOME!

The little tips are soft and flexible, without being too bendy. This enables precision application.

This perfect little pen slides in my bag, taking up virtually no space – ideal when room is at a premium!

Along side its portability, this gives a solid 8 hour wear-time. No smudging, no bleeding, no waiting around for it to dry (sets in seconds); this is makeup on the move!

In short, this innocent looking little three-pronged liner is my new best buddy! I’ll be retiring the kohl for a while I think!

The Clarins 3-Dot Liner is available now for £20.
